JOB SUMMARY

• We are seeking Welding Engineers (fresh graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of experience) to support welding engineering and offshore operations related to subsea pipeline construction work.
• Suitable candidates will be provided with hands-on mentoring and structured training in Welding technology, Welding qualification, and QA/QC procedures to support their involvement in strategic offshore pipeline installation projects.
• The Engineer will assist in the preparation of welding procedures, technical documents, and provide support to project and offshore teams during project execution

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review welding procedure specifications (WPS), technical drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project and international standards.
• Support QA/QC activities related to welding processes in strategic offshore pipeline installation projects.
• Coordinate with project teams, offshore teams, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Support the development of welding procedures (WPS/PQR), installation procedures, and offshore work instructions.
• Monitor welding progress and assist in preparing technical reports and welding documentation.

• High Onshore salary: 16 - 25 million VND.
• A project-based salary scheme will be applied for offshore and overseas projects: Day rate ranges from 3 to 6 million VND per day or higher depending on ability.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Welding Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related discipline. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• 01–02 years of relevant experience in welding engineering, QA/QC is an advantage; candidates with a strong technical foundation who wish to develop their capabilities in the oil and gas industry are welcome.
• Basic understanding of welding processes metallurgy, offshore construction, and subsea pipeline installation works.
• Familiarity with international welding standards such as DNV, API, ASME, AWS, ISO is an advantage.
• Experience with software: AutoCAD, Microsoft Office or similar is an advantage.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary project teams.
• Communicative English (written and spoken), able to read technical documents and communicate with international teams. TOEIC 600 or Equivalent.
• Willing to work offshore or on overseas assignments when necessary..

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Candidates with experience in the following areas will have an advantage:
• Offshore pipeline installation projects
• Welding QA/QC or fabrication experience
• Subsea construction works
• Knowledge of welding standards (DNV, API, ASME)

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

• Work location: Vung Tau Office and Offshore Project Sites, Overseas Project.
